HARBOUR

There is a long road with vacant buildings. All things stretch into the distance. Then a car emerges out of nowhere. Slowly it goes. There are gaps in some of the buildings giving a hint of what lies beyond.

A yellow crane re-traces its steps along a narrow track. Shifting. Puddles filled with sky sit on the concrete flat. Then drop off into a sea disturbed by the wind.

Huge vessels line the sea. Floating tanks with letters now unapproachable. Unspeakable.

The sound of deposited metal comes again. This time louder.

Back past empty building where bundles wrapped in brown paper are stacked in rows.

A car stands parked, its engine still running. Now a small building approaches. Inside there is only one room. Only a desk and on the desk sits a large fish-tank where a fish is circling around and apart from the fish there is nothing.

The fish looks out. I stare back.
